HIGHLIGHTS

It's never too late to join!  If you have not yet registered for the Fitness Challenge but would like to do so please create an account. Each month, from January through December, a prize will be awarded to the top 3 participants in the 5 fitness challenge categories; those who lose the most weight; walk the most miles; run the most miles, bike the most miles, and perform the most hours of other fitness activities ( yoga, swimming, dance, working-out, etc.). Each participant can only win one monthly prize throughout the year.

NEW ENROLLEE?

The 2012 fitness challenge has added a new category called “new enrollee” for the novice or first time exerciser who makes a commitment to change their life through exercise and diet and keeps it going throughout the year. There will also be a “new enrollee” year end winner in each of the 5 fitness challenge categories to go along with the top 3 year end winners in each of the 5 fitness challenge categories. All fitness challenge participants from the first time exerciser to the hard core athlete now have the same chance to be a fitness challenge yearly winner. New 2012 fitness challenge participants should contact fitness challenge coordinator Will Sheffield at Sheffieldwg@mail.NIH.GOV or call 301-846-5109 to register as a new enrollee participant for 2012.
